Dr. Eunice brings a rare, research-driven background to patient care at Pleasanton Dental Care — one shaped by years of academic training across some of the country's top institutions.

Education & training
Dr. Eunice earned her Bachelor's degree in Molecular Cell Biology, with a minor in Music, from UC Berkeley. As an undergraduate researcher in the Caldwell lab, she developed a passion for research that led her to Harvard University, where she studied the effects of nutrition and dental intervention on children as a grant recipient. She went on to earn her Master's in Public Health, with an emphasis in Nutrition, from Loma Linda University with honors, and later completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Loma Linda as well — graduating with an additional research grant from the AAID and winning the CDA Research Honor Award for her work statistically linking dental implants and nutrition.

Professional recognition
Dr. Eunice continues to advance her expertise, having completed over 300 continuing education credits in implant dentistry. She is currently an AAID Associate Fellow candidate and an AGD Fellow candidate, and serves as a Subject Matter Expert Consultant for the Dental Board of California. Her commitment to service extends beyond the office — she has volunteered dental care locally in Berkeley and San Bernardino, as well as internationally in Honduras and Peru.

Her approach
As a third-generation dentist with a background spanning public health, education, and research, Dr. Eunice brings a multidisciplinary perspective to every patient interaction — one that also allows her to collaborate closely with staff and specialists. She believes patient education is essential to prevention, and that truly listening is the foundation of excellent, compassionate care. That philosophy shapes every visit at Pleasanton Dental Care.

Outside the office
When she's not treating patients, Dr. Eunice enjoys time with her husband and two daughters. The family is active in their local Christian church and loves to travel, with the California coast and Japan among their favorite destinations.
